When my partner and I first came together, we found joy in the small acts of care, like applying beef tallow made by a friend onto each other’s skin. It was a ritual that bonded us and sparked a desire to create something uniquely our own.

Driven by curiosity and a request to spirit for guidance, we set out on a quest to craft our own tallow. As fate would have it, our search led us to Erewhon, where instead of the familiar beef tallow, we discovered camel hump fat. we were dismayed to find that every jar of beef tallow was sold out. There wasn’t a single jar left on the shelf. Intrigued by this unexpected find, we decided to embrace the opportunity and experiment with it.

Returning to the serene Arizona desert, we crafted our first batch of camel hump fat tallow. From that moment, we were captivated by its remarkable benefits and the deep resonance it had with us. Our research revealed that camel fat was not just a superior skincare ingredient but also a symbol of resilience and endurance.
